As a Small Business Consultant and Retail Trainer based in Christchurch one observation I have made over the years is that many people who go into business for themselves do so because they are good at what they do, an expert in their field, but if that field is not sales / marketing how well do they sell there expertise to their chosen market?  Having spent almost all my working life in sales and having experienced the trials and tribulations of owning my own business I now spend my time doing what I love and am most passionate about, helping others achieve their business goals, for me it is the ultimate in job satisfaction.
